Senior HSEQQ Manager - EPC/EPCM Projects

For our client, we are seeking a Senior HSEQQ Manager - EPC/EPCM Projects to join the team of a leader in the Technical Services space.

This role will shape and drive a consistent HSEQ strategy across complex EPC/EPCM project environments, with a strong emphasis on construction-phase execution, contractor coordination, and regulatory alignment. You will partner closely with Project Directors, leadership teams, clients, contractors, and field personnel to strengthen safety governance and performance standards. The position also plays an important role in proposals and contract negotiations, helping establish scalable structures and expectations for multi-project delivery.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $136,497 – $197,515 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of a consistent HSEQ approach across all EPC/EPCM projects.
• Serve as the primary HSEQ advisor to Project Directors and leadership teams.
• Drive adoption of the project-level HSEQ program.
• Provide strategic guidance during proposals and contract negotiations.
• Establish scalable HSEQ organization structures for multi-project delivery.
• Define roles, responsibilities, and governance models for integrated safety programs.
• Align safety expectations and performance standards across contractors and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive on-site HSEQ leadership experience with substantial large-scale EPC/EPCM project exposure.
• Strong background supporting multi-contractor, high-risk industrial construction environments.
• Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority.
• Proven experience supporting construction management delivery models with contractor execution and client/contractor interface management.
• Working knowledge of construction-phase HSEQ controls, contractor management, incident investigation, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to travel regularly to project locations and engage effectively with field teams and stakeholders.
