Join Cranecorp as a Senior HSEQT Advisor

Cranecorp is seeking a proactive, experienced and hands-on Senior HSEQT Advisor to support and continually improve our Health, Safety, Environment, Quality and Training (HSEQT) systems across our operations.

This is not a desk-based compliance role. We are looking for someone who enjoys being in the field, building relationships with operational teams, engaging directly with our workforce and clients, and providing practical support to drive safe and efficient outcomes.

Working closely with our People & Culture team, operational leaders and site personnel, you will play a key role in strengthening our safety culture, supporting compliance, managing injury and rehabilitation processes, and delivering continuous improvement initiatives across the business.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated HSEQT professional who thrives in operational environments and is passionate about making a visible impact.

About you:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health, Health, Safety, or equivalent postgraduate qualifications or equivalent demonstrated experience.
  • 5+ years’ experience in a similar role in the heavy vehicle or mining industry
  • Demonstrated understanding of legislation and best practices in Health and Safety
  • Ability to engage stakeholders and attain buy-in on safety initiatives from key stakeholders
  • Previous experience developing or overhauling a safety framework for a blue collar business
  • Competent in writing and reviewing management plans, procedures, work method statements and other related system documentation
  • Experience ensuring site safety including psychological safety
  • Previously implemented risk management strategies and procedures and conducting risk assessments
  • Confident at delivering safety meetings and toolbox talks
  • Demonstrated experience in injury management, return to work coordination, and workers compensation claim management
  • Experience with ICAM and/or TapRooT® investigations
  • Demonstrated experience maintaining and improving integrated management systems aligned with ISO 45001, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

About the position:

  • Lead Cranecorp's review of its safety framework and systems
  • Advise Cranecorp senior leadership on safety legislation
  • Partner with all aspects of the business to ensure a cooperative culture around safety
  • Regular travel throughout WA for site safety assessments and safety coverage for major shutdowns
  • Implement processes to ensure the safety of our staff
  • Facilitate verification of competency for various high risk work licenses and ensure compliance with site and legal requirements
  • Manage incident reporting, investigations and corrective actions
  • Lead injury management, workers compensation and return to work processes, partnering with employees, managers and external providers to achieve positive recovery and return to work outcomes
  • Maintain and continually improve Cranecorp's integrated management system to support compliance with ISO 45001, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards
  • Support training compliance, workforce competency and verification of competency programs across the business
