Senior Human Resources Executive

About the role

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, we are seeking a Senior Human Resources Executive to join the HR team at Mega City Builder Sdn Bhd. This is a full-time position based in Kota Kinabalu District, Sabah.

As Senior Human Resources Executive, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the strategic human resources function across our organisation. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality HR services that enhance employee engagement, support organisational development, and ensure compliance with employment regulations. This role is essential to maintaining a positive workplace culture and supporting the company's growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage recruitment and selection processes, including job posting, candidate screening, interview coordination, and onboarding of new employees
• Administer employee relations matters, including contract management, leave administration, and disciplinary procedures
• Provide HR advisory services to management and employees on policies, procedures, and employment-related matters
• Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures aligned with organisational requirements and legal compliance
• Maintain and update personnel records and HR databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
• Assist with training needs analysis and coordinate employee development and training programmes
• Support payroll administration and benefits management processes
• Handle employee inquiries and resolve HR-related issues in a timely and professional manner
• Contribute to HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving organisational effectiveness and employee satisfaction
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations relevant to the Malaysian workplace

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in a human resources role, preferably in a management or supervisory capacity
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels
• Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organisational and attention to detail skills
• Professional certification such as CHRP (Certified Human Resources Professional) or equivalent is highly desirable
• Experience in recruitment, employee relations, and payroll administration
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
• Female that able to communicate mandarin with my female china staffs
