Senior Human Resources Executive

Who Are We?

Gadek Nursery is suppliers of various types of trees and also provide delivery services throughout Peninsular Malaysia. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Human Resources Executive who is organised, people-oriented, proactive, and passionate about building a positive workplace culture.

Responsibilities :

• Manage daily HR operations including employee records, attendance, leave, claims, and HR documentation
• Handle recruitment activities including job posting, candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and onboarding
• Prepare and maintain employment-related documents such as offer letters, confirmation letters, warning letters, and other HR correspondence
• Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, leave, MC, and other employee-related matters
• Assist in payroll preparation and ensure accurate HR information is submitted within the required timeline
• Maintain updated and confidential employee personal files and HR databases
• Coordinate employee onboarding, orientation, and induction programmes for new staff
• Assist management in handling employee relations, disciplinary matters, grievances, and workplace concerns
• Monitor staff performance, probation, confirmation, and performance improvement processes
• Support the implementation of HR policies, SOPs, procedures, and company guidelines
• Ensure HR practices and documentation comply with applicable Malaysian employment laws and regulations
• Assist in planning and coordinating staff training, development, team activities, and employee engagement programmes
• Prepare HR reports, staff summaries, attendance reports, and other HR-related documentation for management review
• Support manpower planning and ensure vacancies are filled according to the nursery's staffing requirements
• Perform other HR and administrative duties as assigned by the management

Requirements :

• Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in education, childcare, F&B, retail, or other service-based industries
• Good understanding of HR administration, recruitment, employee relations, and basic employment practices
• Familiar with Malaysian employment laws and statutory requirements such as KWSP, PERKESO, EIS, and PCB
• Strong organisational and administrative skills with good attention to detail
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to handle confidential employee information professionally
• Proactive, responsible, independent, and able to work with minimal supervision
• Able to communicate effectively with employees from different backgrounds
• Good problem-solving skills and a positive working attitude
• Proficient in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace and basic HR systems
• Experience handling recruitment and staff disciplinary matters will be an added advantage
