Senior Human Resources Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• HR Management: Lead and oversee the overall HR function for the company and its subsidiaries, ensuring consistent and effective HR practices across the Group.
• HR Strategy & Manpower Planning: Develop HR strategies, manpower plans, recruitment plans, workforce budgets, and organizational development initiatives aligned with business needs.
• HR Policies, Procedures & Systems: Develop, implement, review, and continuously improve HR policies, procedures, SOPs, and the Employee Handbook to ensure consistent HR practices, operational effectiveness, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Employment Law & Compliance: Monitor and ensure compliance with the latest Employment Act, labour laws, regulations, and statutory requirements, keeping Management updated on relevant changes.
• Statutory Compliance: Oversee compliance and submissions relating to KWSP (EPF), PERKESO (SOCSO), EIS, LHDN/PCB, HRD Corp, and other applicable statutory requirements.
• Recruitment & Workforce Management: Manage end-to-end recruitment, manpower planning, onboarding, probation, confirmation, and workforce requirements for both office and M&E construction site personnel.
• Employee Relations: Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters, misconduct, performance issues, investigations, and other employee relations matters professionally and in accordance with applicable laws.
• Training & Development: Identify training needs, manage the annual training plan, coordinate training programmes, and oversee HRD Corp claims and training initiatives.
• Payroll & Performance Management: Oversee payroll, overtime, allowances, employee benefits, performance appraisal, KPI, promotion, and other compensation-related matters.
• HR Reporting & Management Support: Prepare HR reports and provide professional advice to Management on manpower, employee costs, compliance, recruitment, employee relations, and other HR matters.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum 10 – 15 years of HR operations. Prior experience in full-spectrum HR management in Malaysia is highly preferred.

• Demonstrated experience in employee coaching, counselling, or employee relations. Prior experience supervising or leading a team.

• Sound working knowledge of Malaysian labour law and statutory requirements.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Hands-on operating at both strategic and operational levels.

• Pro-active and a team player.
