What they need

The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) is a statutory body established in 1966 to promote, assist and develop Hong Kong's trade. With 51 offices globally, including 13 in the Chinese Mainland, the HKTDC promotes Hong Kong as a two-way global investment and business hub.

The HKTDC organises international exhibitions, conferences and business missions to create business opportunities for companies, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), in the mainland and international markets. The HKTDC also provides up-to-date market insights and product information via research reports and digital news channels.

As we celebrate our 60th anniversary in 2026 and begin a new three-year business cycle, our mission remains as strong as ever to help Hong Kong thrive in trade and businesses succeed in the ever-changing landscape.

We are seeking for a detail-oriented and technology-savvy professional to support the development, maintenance and continuous enhancement of our Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and administer HRIS and related HR applications to ensure data integrity, system security and smooth operation.
  • Provide day-to-day system support to HR users and employees, including troubleshooting system issues and responding to enquiries.
  • Prepare HR reports, dashboards and analytics to support management decision-making, workforce planning and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT) and implementation of system enhancements, upgrades and new functionalities.
  • Support HR digitalisation initiatives and continuous process improvement projects.
  • Manage employee data changes and conduct regular data audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Develop user guides, training materials and conduct user training where required.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders, IT teams and external vendors on HR system-related matters.
  • Assist in other HR operations and projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Degree holder in Human Resources Management, Information Systems, Business Administration or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 4 years' relevant experience in HR operations, HRIS administration or HR technology support.
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS / payroll systems, Oracle HCM or similar HR platforms is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical mindset with advanced Excel skills.
  • Good problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Self-motivated, detail-minded and able to work independently under tight deadlines.
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua.

Remuneration and Benefits:

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. A competitive remuneration and benefits package, including annual leave, medical and dental benefits, will be offered.

Application Procedure:

Interested candidates are invited to complete the application form on our website. Those who do not hear from us within EIGHT WEEKS after the closing date may assume their applications were unsuccessful.

All information provided by applicants will be treated in strict confidence and used only for recruitment purposes. Applicants may be considered for other suitable positions within the Council. Their personal data will be destroyed six months after the selection is finalized.
