Senior Identity and Access Management Engineer

Context

We are seeking an experienced Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer to join our growing team. The role involves working with secure authentication and authorization solutions and managing digital certificates within a technical system environment.

Missions

• Evaluate and translate requirements into system design
• Assess design benefits and trade-offs
• Validate design compliance and support deployment to ensure requirements are met
• Use development tools to solve technical or business challenges, including technology evolution, capacity management, and performance optimization
• Innovate by presenting new ideas to improve existing systems, processes, or services
• Maintain knowledge of existing technology documents through technical writing
• Perform complex incident resolution and root cause analyses
• Participate in on-duty calls for the systems under your responsibility, if required
• Maintain secure authentication and authorization solutions using OIDC, OAuth, and SAML protocols
• Manage digital certificates including issuance, renewal, and revocation processes
• Troubleshoot and resolve IAM-related issues

Working Conditions

• Work locations can be discussed: Leuven or Mechelen office

1. Over 5 years of technical system experience
2. Proven experience in system software and IT infrastructure
3. Core competences: Adaptive, Analytical thinking, Collaborating, Flexible, Result driven, Software development
4. Strong knowledge of ICT, Encryption, Identity and access management, Information Security, and Web security
5. Technical skills including GitHub/BitBucket, JavaScript, JSON, OAuth, and OpenID Connect (OIDC)
6. Experience maintaining secure authentication and authorization solutions using OIDC, OAuth, and SAML protocols
7. Ability to manage digital certificates including issuance, renewal, and revocation processes
8. Skills to troubleshoot and resolve IAM related issues
9. Knowledge of Azure AD, PING AM, and PING DS is a bonus
10. Security driven mindset and strong soft skills
