Senior Implementation Associate

About the role

As a Senior Implementation Associate, you will play a key role in helping customers successfully implement and adopt MediSpend's Commercial Compliance solutions. You will work closely with the implementation team and customers to support project execution, system configuration, testing, training, and implementation-related activities. This role combines strong project coordination, analytical, technical, and customer-facing skills. You will help ensure that implementation projects are delivered accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with established processes and customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Support the successful execution of SaaS implementation projects from requirements gathering through configuration, testing, training, and deployment.
• Develop an understanding of customer processes, requirements, workflows, and implementation objectives.
• Work closely with Implementation Managers and team members to execute project tasks, meet timelines, and maintain implementation standards.
• Prepare and maintain implementation documentation, including requirements templates, configuration documentation, process flows, testing scripts, and project trackers.
• Configure application functionality under the guidance of the Implementation Manager, including workflows, forms, fields, user roles, and data imports.
• Validate system configurations against documented customer requirements and identify inconsistencies or potential issues.
• Develop and execute internal testing scripts to validate system functionality and configuration.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test materials, coordinating testing activities, tracking defects, documenting issues, and validating fixes.
• Participate in customer meetings, including system reviews, configuration walkthroughs, testing sessions, and issue-resolution discussions.
• Demonstrate system functionality and provide clear explanations of application features and workflows within scope.

About you

• 3–5+ years of experience in SaaS implementation, application configuration, technical support, project coordination, or a similar customer-facing technology role.
• Experience supporting SaaS implementations, software configuration, testing, or customer onboarding.
• Experience using project management, ticketing, or collaboration platforms such as Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of SaaS implementation and software support processes.
• Strong analytical, judgment, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into clear configuration, testing, and implementation activities.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.
• Strong working knowledge of Excel and experience working with data validation, imports, or structured datasets.
• Ability to work effectively in a process-driven, deadline-focused environment.
• Comfortable communicating with customers through email, phone, and web video conferencing.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in the life sciences, pharmaceutical, medical device, healthcare, or other regulated industries.
• Experience with commercial compliance, transparency reporting, HCP engagement, or related compliance solutions.
• Experience collaborating with customer success, product, engineering, or technical teams on software implementations and releases.
• Experience supporting system integrations, data imports, or application-to-application workflows.
• Experience creating or maintaining knowledge base articles, SOPs, training materials, process documentation, or technical implementation documentation.
• Familiarity with regulatory reporting frameworks and compliance-related workflows.
