Senior Inbound Logistics Coordinator

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Inbound Logistics Coordinator to manage international inbound shipments, import operations, and transportation activities. The role ensures timely delivery of raw materials, customs compliance, cost efficiency, and uninterrupted manufacturing operations across the Greater Asia region.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor inbound shipments from global suppliers and affiliated locations.
• Manage shipment tracking, transportation planning, and end-to-end inbound logistics operations.
• Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders to resolve delivery issues.
• Oversee customs clearance, import documentation, and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure timely transportation of goods from ports and terminals to warehouses and manufacturing facilities.
• Collaborate with Planning, Procurement, Warehouse, and Operations teams to meet production requirements.
• Review freight invoices, monitor transportation costs, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain and improve logistics SOPs, processes, and operational efficiency.
• Monitor logistics service provider performance and maintain accurate shipment records in SAP and other logistics systems.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, freight management, import/export, or supply chain coordination, preferably in manufacturing or FMCG.
• Strong knowledge of international shipping, air/ocean/land transportation, customs clearance, and Incoterms.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems, particularly SAP.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments, prioritize tasks, and resolve logistics issues in a fast-paced environment.
