Senior Informatica IDMC Developer

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Informatica Cloud / IDMC Developer with strong hands-on experience in Informatica Cloud Data Integration (CDI), Data Quality (CDQ), and enterprise data integration solutions.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving abilities, and very strong communication and client-facing skills. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable, reliable, and high-quality data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement scalable data integration solutions using Informatica Cloud / IDMC.
• Develop and maintain complex ETL/ELT mappings, mapping tasks, workflows, and data pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Informatica Cloud Data Integration (CDI) and related IDMC services.
• Design and implement Data Quality solutions using Informatica Cloud Data Quality (CDQ).
• Develop data quality rules, validations, profiling, cleansing, standardization, and monitoring processes.
• Integrate data from multiple sources including databases, APIs, flat files, cloud applications, and enterprise systems.
• Perform data transformation, cleansing, enrichment, validation, and reconciliation.
• Analyze source-to-target requirements and develop appropriate mapping and transformation logic.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex data integration and data quality issues.
• Optimize mappings and workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Work with cloud platforms and databases as part of enterprise data integration solutions.
• Develop reusable integration components and follow established development standards.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, data validation, and production support.
• Monitor data pipelines and proactively identify and resolve failures or data issues.
• Work closely with Data Architects, Business Analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements.
• Participate in requirement discussions, technical design sessions, and solution walkthroughs.
• Clearly communicate technical concepts, issues, risks, and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Prepare technical documentation, mapping specifications, data flow diagrams, and operational documentation.
• Support deployment activities across development, testing, and production environments.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to data engineering and integration best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of overall experience, with strong hands-on experience in Informatica Cloud / IDMC, Data Integration (CDI), and Data Quality (CDQ).
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and enterprise data integration.
• Experience developing complex mappings, transformations, tasks, and workflows.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
• Experience with REST APIs and integration with cloud/SaaS applications.
• Strong understanding of data quality, data profiling, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms and modern data integration architectures.
• Strong troubleshooting and performance-tuning capabilities.
• Good understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional data models.

Communication & Soft Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are mandatory.
• Strong ability to communicate directly with clients and business stakeholders.
• Comfortable leading technical discussions and requirement-gathering sessions.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a simple and clear manner.

Preferred / Good to Have

• Informatica certifications such as Informatica Cloud / IDMC certifications.
• Experience with Snowflake, Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Experience with API-based integrations.
• Knowledge of data governance and metadata management.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Prior experience in client-facing or consulting roles.
