Senior Information Technology Manager

You’ll be contributing as a technical lead for backend services in product development and customer implementations, helping clients in insurance, banking, e-commerce etc. embrace and integrate AI into their operations to further transform their business to compete and grow.

Key Responsibilities

IT Strategy & Leadership

• Own the company's overall IT operations strategy, roadmap, and budget, aligning infrastructure investments with business and delivery priorities.
• Build, lead, and mentor the IT Operations team, including Sr. IT Operations Engineers and other team members; set priorities, review work, and support career growth.
• Define IT policies, standards, and SOPs for infrastructure, security, and user/device management, and drive consistent adoption across the organization.
• Report on IT operations health, risks, and initiatives to the VP - Delivery and other leadership stakeholders.

Cloud, Infrastructure & Application Oversight

• Own the governance and strategic direction of AWS Cloud infrastructure , including EC2, S3, IAM, and related services, ensuring scalability, cost efficiency, and security posture.
• Oversee Microsoft 365 administration, Active Directory , and collaboration platforms, ensuring licensing, policies, and access management follow best practice.
• Direct AWS Support engagement and escalation processes to ensure timely resolution of infrastructure issues.
• Set direction on DevOps and CI/CD practices, Git/GitHub usage, and Jira-based project tracking to support engineering and delivery workflows.
• Oversee domain, DNS, SSL, FTP, and web hosting operations (including GoDaddy and WordPress properties), ensuring uptime and secure configuration.

Network & Security Governance

• Own the organization's network and endpoint security posture, including Fortigate Firewall , VPN, Wi-Fi/network controllers, and Kaspersky Endpoint Security (or equivalent) deployments.
• Set and enforce security standards across endpoints, network access, and remote connectivity.
• Evaluate and recommend enterprise security tooling and vendors as the organization scales.

Compliance, Risk & Business Continuity

• Lead SOC audit readiness end-to-end, owning documentation, evidence collection, and remediation tracking in partnership with compliance stakeholders.
• Establish and maintain IT risk management, business continuity, and disaster recovery plans for critical systems.
• Ensure IT systems and practices meet internal security standards and any applicable client or regulatory requirements.

Vendor, Budget & Asset Management

• Own vendor relationships and contract decisions for IT infrastructure, security, hosting, and hardware procurement.
• Manage the IT operations budget, including cost tracking and optimization across cloud, licensing, and hardware spend.
• Oversee IT asset lifecycle management, procurement standards, and inventory accuracy across the organization.

User & Team Operations

• Set standards and oversee execution of employee onboarding/offboarding, device provisioning, and access management at scale.
• Ensure escalation paths and SLAs are in place for employee IT support, hardware issues, and troubleshooting.
• Oversee biometric attendance and other internal operational systems, ensuring data integrity and HR system integration.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
• 12+ years of experience in IT operations or infrastructure management, including at least 3-5 years in a leadership or team-management capacity.
• Proven experience managing and mentoring an IT operations team, including performance management and capability building.
• Deep, hands-on background across Microsoft 365 , AWS (EC2, S3, IAM), Active Directory , and Fortigate/network security platforms.
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD, Git/GitHub, and Jira-based project tracking.
• Experience owning SOC or similar compliance audits, including documentation and evidence-collection processes.
• Demonstrated experience managing IT budgets and vendor relationships.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical risk and strategy for non-technical leadership.

Educational Qualifications

• Engineering graduate or B.Tech/MCA with relevant major subjects like Computer Science.
• Advanced certifications (e.g., AWS certifications, ITIL, PMP, or security certifications) preferred.
