Senior Information Technology Manager

We are looking for a technically strong Senior IT Manager to lead the security, network infrastructure and telephony/Unified Communications environment for a Dubai-based organisation.

The role will take end-to-end ownership of cybersecurity architecture, incident response, enterprise networking, cloud/hybrid infrastructure, disaster recovery, and SIP/PBX telephony platforms. You will also lead technical teams, manage vendors and present infrastructure and security risks clearly to senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

• Own and continuously strengthen cybersecurity across network, endpoint, cloud and identity layers.
• Manage NGFW, EDR, SIEM, PAM, vulnerability management, penetration testing and incident response.
• Design and manage enterprise LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, wireless, server-room and hybrid cloud infrastructure.
• Oversee backups, disaster recovery, business continuity, redundancy and failover arrangements.
• Manage SIP trunking, PBX/UC platforms, call-routing architecture, mobile/SIM fleets and telecom vendors.
• Drive ISO 27001 and DESC ISR compliance, audit readiness, policies, SOPs and evidence management.
• Lead, mentor and develop IT engineers, network/security administrators and telephony/UC teams.
• Manage vendors, contracts, SLAs and budgets, while acting as the senior escalation point for critical incidents.

Requirements:

• 8-10 years of progressive, hands-on IT experience with deep expertise across cybersecurity, enterprise networking and telephony/UC.
• At least 3 years of team leadership or managerial experience.
• Strong experience with security architecture, incident response, enterprise network design and SIP/PBX platforms.
• Experience supporting ISO 27001 or equivalent information-security frameworks and audits.
• Excellent stakeholder-management, communication and presentation skills, with the confidence and personality to engage senior management and external vendors.
• A structured, documentation-driven approach with strong vendor-management and budget-management capability.
• Willingness to provide 24/7 escalation support during major outages or changes.

Required certifications:

• CISSP or CISM
• CCNP, CCIE or equivalent advanced networking certification
• ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor

Strongly preferred:

• Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto PCNSE or equivalent firewall/security certification
• Azure or AWS Administrator, Security or Architect certification
• ITIL Foundation and/or PMP
• CompTIA Security+ and/or Network+
