About the Role

We are seeking a senior engineer to take responsibility for our IT infrastructure and security, and to contribute to product development across the business. The role combines systems administration with software development, using AI-assisted coding. You will work alongside our development lead on web platforms, internal operations tools, and real-time Unreal Engine products.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to product development across the business, from web platforms to production tooling
• Administer Microsoft 365, Entra ID, user accounts, devices, backups and password management
• Manage and control our AWS environment, including our 3D streaming servers
• Manage our data-centre infrastructure, including servers, GPU machines, storage and backups
• Design, secure and maintain our firewalls, VPNs, remote access and data-centre connections
• Manage hardware, software, security and compliance across our remote team, including contractor devices, asset and licence registers, and evidence for client and audit reviews
• Automate routine IT tasks and build internal tools and agents through AI-assisted coding
• Manage IT suppliers and service agreements, and document systems, configurations and procedures

Requirements

• Senior software engineering experience building, deploying and maintaining production web applications, in a modern language such as TypeScript or Python
• Advanced daily use of leading AI tools across coding, automation and general work
• Senior IT systems administration or engineering experience, including Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Windows
• Hands-on AWS management experience, including EC2, S3 and IAM
• Hands-on experience with firewalls, VPNs and data-centre networking
• Experience running data-centre infrastructure, including servers, GPU machines, storage and backups
• Experience managing hardware, software, security and compliance for a remote workforce
• Scripting to automate administration, such as PowerShell or Python
• Sound judgement when working with production systems, security and confidential data
• Based in London (preferred)
• Excellent written and spoken English (C1 or above)

Desirable

• Unreal Engine development (C++ or Blueprint), or 3ds Max workflows
• Experience developing and launching a software product

What We Offer

• Contract role at £60,000 – £70,000 per year
• The opportunity to build internal and commercial products alongside our development team

Pay: £60,000.00-£70,000.00 per year
