Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Role Description The Senior Infrastructure Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Nay Pyi Taw, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining core IT infrastructure to support InyaLand’s services and internal operations. This role includes managing servers, storage, networks, security, and cloud/hybrid environments, ensuring high availability and performance. The Senior Infrastructure Engineer will monitor systems, diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, perform capacity planning, and drive infrastructure automation and optimization initiatives. The position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, documenting standards and procedures, mentoring junior engineers, and coordinating with vendors and partners for infrastructure projects and service improvements.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Infrastructure and System Administration skills, including experience with servers, storage, virtualization, and operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux).
• Candidates should possess Networking skills, including configuration and management of switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, and routing protocols.
• Candidates should possess Network Security skills, including implementation of security controls, monitoring, incident response, and adherence to best practices and compliance requirements.
• Candidates should possess Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving complex infrastructure, networking, and performance issues in production environments.
• Relevant experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or other regional providers), infrastructure-as-code, and automation tools is beneficial.
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
• Strong communication skills, ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team, and readiness to operate in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment are essential.
• Professional certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Network+/Security+, or relevant cloud certifications are an advantage.
