Senior Infrastructure Engineer – 12 Month Contract, Hybrid, Dublin

What’s involved

• Delivering technical infrastructure projects, including specification, planning and implementation.
• Supporting the development of continuous improvement plans and infrastructure enhancements aligned with client requirements.
• Providing technical expertise across infrastructure, virtualisation technologies and Windows server environments.
• Troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues, performing root cause analysis and ensuring resolution in line with SLAs.
• Managing client relationships, coordinating with external vendors and supporting infrastructure expansion and refresh initiatives.
• Producing technical documentation, best practice guides and providing technical support to project teams.

What’s needed

• 3–5+ years’ commercial experience supporting, maintaining and deploying infrastructure systems, including large-scale environments.
• Strong knowledge of virtualisation technologies, ideally VMware, with VCP or equivalent certification.
• Experience with Windows Server and desktop operating systems, with relevant Microsoft certifications.
• Experience troubleshooting live infrastructure environments, performing root cause analysis and managing technical issues through to resolution.
• Understanding of scalable infrastructure solutions, with PowerShell or VBS scripting knowledge considered advantageous.

What’s on offer:

• €300 - €400 per day
