Senior Injection Molding Engineer

Senior Injection Molding Engineer Position:
Responsibility: Technical Authority for Injection Molding & Capability Development.

• Advanced injection molding engineering & process optimization expertise.
• Project management.
• Lead injection molding activities for New Product Introduction, validation, and mass production release.
• Root cause analysis of recurring quality defects.
• Provide technical coaching and mentoring to process technicians, engineers, and manufacturing teams on injection molding.
• Define molding process requirements, tooling specifications, equipment requirements, and manufacturing readiness for new products.
• Lead process optimization initiatives focused on improving quality, productivity, OEE, material utilization, and manufacturing cost.
• Coordinating activities with molding suppliers (tooling validation, conditions of the tools/repairs, improvement plans).
• Coaching and training of local molding teams (support development of the technicians, team leaders and operators).
• Support implementation of the strategic IM roadmap, including new tooling, machines and automations..

Qualification:

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineer, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years' experience in Injection Molding Engineering & Process Optimization.
• Have experience in inspection/ manufacturing in plastics injection for automotive or electronics.
• Proficient computer skills with Mold, Machine, Robot & Auxiliary Equipment Validation.
• A working knowledge of OEE & Cycle Time Improvement.
• Ability to plan, schedule, co-ordinate and problem solve effectively.
• Good English knowledge.
