Senior Inside Sales Representative

Profile : Our client sells pipes, fittings and valves to a variety of industries and is looking for a senior technical inside sales rep. Your role will be a combination of customer service, order entry, sourcing of products and sales.

Territory :

Workplace : Hybrid-3 days Montreal office+ 2 days at home

Products/Services : Pipes, fittings and valves

Salary : Base $80,000-$110,000

Commissions/Bonus : 20%-25% bonus annually based on company results

Functions :

• Process customer orders, quotations, returns and inquiries accurately and efficiently.
• Drive new and repeat business by providing timely, accurate product information and technical support.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales through cross-selling and upselling, while enhancing customer satisfaction and profitability.
• Prepare pricing, credit arrangements and sales terms in accordance with company policies and customer account requirements.
• Monitor scheduled shipments to ensure on-time delivery and coordinate follow-ups or expedited shipments when necessary.
• Follow up with customers after sales to ensure satisfaction, address concerns and resolve any issues.
• Maintain accurate customer records and respond to requests for product information, catalogues and samples.
• Liaise with suppliers to obtain accurate shipment updates and expected delivery dates.

Languages : French and English (written and spoken)

Education : College degree or equivalent experience

Training : On the job training provided but industry experience required

Overnight Travel : No overnight travel required

Years of experience : At least 5 years relevant experience
