Senior Inspection Engineer

Master Safety Consultancy (MSC) is seeking an experienced Senior Inspection Engineer to join our third-party inspection team in Abu Dhabi.

This position is intended for an experienced inspection professional capable of independently conducting inspections, dealing with clients and site teams, preparing technical documentation, and working across lifting and industrial equipment inspection scopes.

MSC is ADNOC Prequalified, ENAS & EIAC Accredited, and ACTVET Approved.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently conduct inspection, examination, testing and certification of lifting equipment and lifting accessories
• Inspect mobile cranes, crawler cranes, tower cranes, overhead cranes, forklifts, MEWPs, lifting accessories, earth-moving machinery and other equipment within MSC's scope
• Conduct visual examinations, functional testing, load testing and thorough examinations
• Assess equipment condition and identify defects, deterioration and unsafe conditions
• Review technical documentation and applicable inspection requirements
• Prepare accurate inspection reports and certificates
• Liaise directly with clients, HSE teams and site representatives
• Ensure inspection activities comply with applicable UAE requirements, international standards and company procedures
• Support technical decision-making and junior inspection personnel where required

Candidate Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
• Strong third-party inspection experience
• Demonstrable experience inspecting lifting equipment and lifting accessories
• Strong knowledge of relevant inspection codes, standards and testing requirements
• Ability to conduct inspections and prepare reports independently
• Strong client-facing and technical communication skills
• UAE experience strongly preferred
• UAE driving licence preferred

Highly Preferred

• ADNOC approval and/or substantial ADNOC project experience
• LEEA qualifications/certifications
• Existing approvals with major UAE clients/operators
• Experience across multiple inspection scopes
• Previous experience with an accredited third-party inspection body

Compensation

Compensation will be based on relevant experience, technical capability, certifications, existing industry/client approvals and inspection scopes. Exceptional packages may be considered for candidates who bring significant additional technical capability or strategic value to MSC.

Pay: From AED8,000.00 per month
