Senior Installation Engineer

KEY OBJECTIVES

• Provide supervisory and execution of Offshore Transportation, Installation in Malaysia Greenfield Engineering & Construction including Procurement, Budget, Cost, Planning, Interface, Contract and other Project supports which are covered all phases, starting from FEED, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation, Commissioning, Start-up, Plant performance test until handover to Operation team
• Coordinate and communicate with Asset and Corporate to support Malaysia Engineering & Construction Development Project activities
• Ensure Project activities are implemented in compliance with Company procedures, regulatory requirements, SSHE regulations and industry standards

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITY

Main duties and responsibilities will include:

• Planning, designing, executing, and supervising the transportation and installation of offshore structures and pipelines, such as stability, strength, fatigue, motions, mooring, lifting, and load-out.
• Performing engineering calculations and analyses for the transportation and installation of offshore structures and pipelines, such as stability, strength, fatigue, motions, mooring, lifting, and load-out.
• Preparing and reviewing engineering documents, such as specifications, drawings, procedures, reports, and manuals, for the transportation and installation activities.
• Coordinating and supervising the fabrication, load-out, transportation, and installation activities at the fabrication yard, offshore site, and onshore base.
• Conducting site surveys, inspections, and audits to ensure compliance with the project requirements, standards, and regulations.
• Troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues or problems that may arise during the transportation and installation process.
• Providing technical support and guidance to the project team, contractors, and clients.
• Participating in project meetings, reviews, and risk assessments.

KEY AUTHORITIES

• Manage all engineering and construction management matters as per the authorized approval
• limitAssign and supervise works performed by subordinates and ensure efficiency of team performance
• Represent project team in reporting/liaise with Petronas, Partners and related Local authorities.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Marine or any related field.
• Minimum 15 years’ relevant experience in the transportation and installation of offshore structures and pipelines, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
• Knowledge and experience in using engineering software, such as ANSYS, OrcaFlex, SACS, MOSES, OFFPIPE, Orcalay, SAGE or similar.
• Knowledge and experience in applying offshore codes and standards, such as API, DNV, ISO or similar.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Willingness to travel and work offshoreas required.
