What they need
About the role
We are looking for a Senior Integration Delivery Consultant - Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) who loves building. You will work directly with enterprise customers to turn difficult, real-world problems into secure, working production systems. This is a hands-on engineering role for someone with 5–10 years of experience who is equally comfortable writing code, connecting systems, troubleshooting production issues, and working side-by-side with customer teams. You will take a solution from an early problem statement through design, build, deployment, stabilization, and handover. An FDE is not primarily a pre-sales engineer or an advisory consultant. You will not stop at demos, slides, or recommendations. You will build the integrations, automation, workflows, and operational tooling needed to make the solution work in the customer's environment—and you will stay close to it until it does.
Key responsibilities
- Start with the customer's problem, understand how their systems and teams operate, and turn ambiguity into a workable technical plan
- Design pragmatic architectures that account for real constraints: legacy systems, fragmented data, network boundaries, security policies, compliance requirements, and delivery timelines
- Write, test, review, debug, and maintain production-quality code
- Build and deploy customer-specific solutions across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments
- Work directly with customer developers, architects, operations teams, security teams, and business stakeholders to unblock delivery
- Troubleshoot issues across code, APIs, infrastructure, networking, identity, data, and third-party services
- Make sound engineering trade-offs between speed, quality, security, maintainability, and customer impact
- Explain technical choices, delivery risks, and outcomes clearly to both engineering teams and senior stakeholders
- Mentor less-experienced engineers and help raise the quality of delivery practices, code, documentation, and reusable assets
About you
- 5–10 years of experience building and delivering software, cloud, data, automation, security, or AI solutions
- A strong builder mindset: you enjoy getting hands-on, working through uncertainty, and shipping reliable outcomes rather than only producing recommendations
- Proven experience taking technical solutions into production, ideally in customer or enterprise environments
- Strong coding skills in Python, Java, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, or a similar language
- Experience designing and integrating APIs, distributed systems, event-driven workflows, data services, or enterprise applications
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, AliCloud, Tencent Cloud, Huawei Cloud, or equivalent private-cloud environments
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Helm, CI/CD pipelines, Git-based workflows, or similar tools
- Solid understanding of networking, identity and access management, databases, secrets, security controls, observability, and production incident response
- The ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, especially when explaining trade-offs, risks, and delivery decisions
- Willingness to work closely with customers, including on-site engagement or travel when required
Nice to Have
- Experience delivering solutions in financial services, healthcare, government, telecommunications, or other regulated and security-sensitive sectors.
- Experience with observability, including logs, metrics, traces, dashboards, alerting, SLOs, and incident management.
- Experience with AI/ML platforms, LLM applications, RAG, AI agents, AI governance, or AI security.
- Experience implementing SSO, OAuth/OIDC, zero-trust controls, secrets management, encryption, audit logging, and network segmentation.
- Experience mentoring engineers or leading technical delivery workstreams.
How You’ll Be Measured
- You ship secure, reliable solutions that work in real customer environments.
- Your deployments meet agreed functional, security, performance, and operational requirements.
- Customers adopt what you build and achieve measurable operational or business value.
- You identify delivery risks early, solve difficult technical problems, and help teams move forward.
- Your work creates reusable patterns that make future customer deployments faster and better.
Application Requirements
Please submit a resume and cover letter.
In your cover letter, tell us:
- Why you want to be a hands-on, customer-facing builder.
- About one complex solution you personally built, integrated, or deployed into production.
- What you owned technically, the stack you used, and the hardest problem you solved.
- The outcome: reliability, performance, security, adoption, efficiency, or business impact.
- How you balanced a customer’s immediate needs with long-term maintainability, security, and operational readiness.
Other offers great for you!
