Senior Integration Engineer

The role

Join a strategic cloud-based platform team focused on delivering seamless access to passenger processing and operational applications through modern virtualization and cloud technologies.

As a Software Integration Engineer , you will be responsible for developing scripts and integration interfaces that connect third-party applications from airlines, airports, and other partners to the platform. Your role will ensure interoperability, enable the use of certified peripheral devices, and support the expansion of integrated services across a scalable, secure, and high-availability environment.

Role Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain integration solutions to connect various software platforms.
• Develop, configure, and manage interfaces, middleware, and scripts to ensure seamless data exchange between systems.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and operations teams to implement software solutions that improve system integration and automation.
• Coordinate and perform the installation, configuration, deployment, and upgrade of software integration components.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues related to system connectivity, data flow, and integration failures.
• Automation Mindset: proactively identifies opportunities to automate repetitive tasks, improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and increase overall quality and reliability.
• Support customers and internal stakeholders by investigating production incidents, debugging existing solutions, and delivering corrective actions and enhancements.
• Perform integration testing, validation, and quality assurance activities to ensure solutions meet functional and non-functional requirements.
• Ensure integrations comply with applicable security, data protection, and governance standards.
• Collaborate with technical and functional teams to understand integration requirements and ensure successful deployment.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, system diagrams, operational procedures, and knowledge articles to support ongoing operations and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
• Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives to promote best practices and high-quality solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to team members and support teams when required.

Minimum Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in Software Integration, Automation, Systems Engineering, or similar technical roles.
• Strong scripting experience with Python, PowerShell, or equivalent languages for automation, integration, and operational support.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud, distributed systems, and Windows Server/Client environments.
• Proficiency with Git and Agile methodologies, including collaborative development and deployment practices.
• Advanced English level with the ability to collaborate effectively in international and cross-functional teams.
• Nice to Have: Java, Ansible, and Citrix knowledge; experience in the travel technology industry.
• Advanced level of English required (B2 - C1)
