Senior Integration Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Integration Developer with 6–8 years of experience in Java development, Spring Boot, Microservices, and enterprise application integration. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in designing and developing scalable, secure, and maintainable applications, along with experience leading development teams and implementing software engineering best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
• Develop and manage enterprise application integrations, including SOAP-based services and custom SOAP messages.
• Lead and support development teams, ensuring code quality and adherence to technical standards.
• Write clean, testable, and production-ready code while applying design patterns and code refactoring techniques.
• Implement and support continuous integration, continuous deployment, and automated testing practices.
• Troubleshoot integration issues and optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
• Work with enterprise integration platforms and tools to ensure reliable communication between systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Requirements

• 6–8 years of experience in software development, with strong hands-on experience in Java.
• Solid knowledge of J2EE, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
• Strong understanding of Microservices architecture and enterprise application integration.
• Experience with Enterprise Service Bus (ESB); IBM DataPower experience is a plus.
• Hands-on experience developing and troubleshooting SOAP services.
• Previous experience leading and managing development teams.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• Experience with Postman, SOAP UI, Oracle SQL Developer, IntelliJ IDEA, and Gradle.
• Familiarity with Redis Server and Firebase.
• Knowledge of ELK Stack and Logstash is a plus.
• Strong understanding of design patterns, application security, continuous integration, and continuous deployment.
• Knowledge of pair programming, test-driven development, and functional programming concepts.
• Relevant degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• CKAD or other relevant enterprise application development certifications are a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous learning.
