Senior Interior Designer

The Senior Interior Designer is responsible for leading and developing interior design concepts from initial briefing through design development and construction documentation. This role ensures that all interior design solutions meet the client's expectations, reflect MyShrine Studios' design standards, and comply with project requirements, budgets, timelines, and technical specifications.

The Senior Interior Designer also provides design leadership, coordinates with architects and other project stakeholders, mentors junior designers, and ensures the quality and consistency of interior design deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Develop creative and functional interior design concepts based on client briefs, project requirements, and the overall architectural vision.

• Prepare design presentations, mood boards, material palettes, color schemes, furniture layouts, and spatial planning.

• Develop interior design concepts for luxury residential, hospitality, and commercial projects.

• Coordinate with Project Architects, POD Leaders, 3D Visualizers, Project Managers, Procurement, and Production teams to ensure design alignment and project continuity.

• Collaborate with the production and procurement teams to verify material availability, fabrication feasibility, specifications, and cost implications.

• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and constructive feedback to Intermediate and Junior Interior Designers.

• Review team deliverables and ensure compliance with MyShrine Studios' design standards, drawing standards, and internal workflows.

• Support the Head of Design / Creative Director in maintaining design quality and consistency across projects.

• Translate client feedback and requirements into clear design actions and deliverables.

• Present design concepts and technical solutions professionally and confidently.

• Plan and monitor interior design deliverables against the project schedule and agreed milestones.

• Identify design risks, coordination issues, and potential rework before they affect project progress.

REQUIREMENTS :

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of professional experience in interior design, preferably in a design consultancy, architecture studio, or design-build company.
• Proven experience handling high-end residential, hospitality, or commercial interior design projects.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating concept development, spatial planning, material selection, detailing, and technical documentation.
• Proficiency in relevant design software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D visualization tools, Adobe Photoshop, and presentation software.
• Strong understanding of interior materials, finishes, lighting, furniture, joinery, and construction detailing.
• Good knowledge of construction methods, site coordination, and material specifications.
• Excellent design presentation, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken, for client communication and project coordination.
• Strong leadership, attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively in a deadline-driven environment.
