Senior Interior Designer (Office Interior)

About the role

Lead the development of block plans, stacking plans, and rapid test fits. Translate client headcount, growth projections, and operational goals into highly functional, human-centric work environments. Act as the primary point of contact for design intent and client communications.

Key responsibilities

• Design Strategy & Space Planning: Lead the development of block plans, stacking plans, and rapid test fits
• Project Delivery & Documentation: Oversee the creation of detailed design packages, including schematic designs, design development, and fully coordinated construction and tender drawings
• Client Management & Presentations: Lead client meetings, present design concepts, material boards, and 3D renderings
• FF&E & Materiality: Select and specify appropriate materials, furniture systems, lighting, and finishes aligned with project briefs and sustainability standards
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, quantity surveyors, architects, and external MEP/engineering consultants to ensure design feasibility and compliance with local building codes
• Mentorship & Quality Control: Review deliverables to ensure consistency with professional standards. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior and intermediate designers

About you

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related field
• Typically 5+ to 8+ years of proven experience specifically in corporate workplace or commercial interior design
• Advanced knowledge of design and drafting software such as AutoCAD and SketchUp
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit is often highly preferred
• Deep understanding of space-planning logic, global workplace trends, color theory, and modular furniture systems
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Strong multitasker capable of running concurrent projects
• High adaptability to fast-paced design and build environments
