Senior Internal Audit Officer

BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION:

Conducts end-to-end internal audit engagements across branch and retail financing operations, including audit planning, fieldwork, testing, and report preparation. Evaluates the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management practices, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Reviews lending and financing processes from application and approval through disbursement and collection to identify control gaps, fraud risks, and operational inefficiencies. Provides recommendations to strengthen controls and enhance operational effectiveness across loan and asset financing activities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• CPA Passers
• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in internal or external audit
• Excel and audit/data analysis experience in branch or field audits
• With hands-on experience in end-to-end audit engagements (planning, fieldwork, and report writing); Exposure to commercial banking operations is highly preferred; Strong understanding of: Loan processes (origination, approval, disbursement, collection) Internal controls and risk management; Fraud risks in lending operations Familiarity with regulatory guidelines and best practices Proficient in MS
