Key Responsibilities:

• Investigation: Conduct thorough investigations into suspected cases of internal fraud, including reviewing financial records, transaction histories, and other relevant documentation to gather evidence.
• Interviewing: Interview employees, customers, and other relevant parties to gather information and testimonies regarding suspected fraudulent activities.
• Documentation: Document findings, evidence, and investigative procedures in a clear and organized manner, maintaining accurate records for potential legal proceedings or internal reports.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments such as legal, compliance, and human resources to coordinate investigations, gather information, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
• Reporting: Prepare reports summarizing investigation findings, including recommendations for corrective actions or disciplinary measures, and present findings to management or relevant stakeholders.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to fraud prevention and investigation.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in fraud detection and prevention, and recommend improvements to internal processes and procedures accordingly.
• Testimony: In some cases, may be required to testify in legal proceedings or provide expert testimony regarding investigation findings.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Internal Auditor in a service, financial services, or related industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) are highly preferred.
• Proven experience in internal audit, external audit, risk management, compliance, and financial auditing.
• Strong understanding of internal control frameworks, governance, and risk assessment methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify risks, control gaps, and process improvement opportunities.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and objectivity in conducting audit activities.
• Strong communication and report-writing skills, with the ability to present audit findings and recommendations effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other audit or data analysis tools.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience in a multifinance, fintech, banking, or automotive financing company.
• Familiarity with fraud investigation, regulatory compliance, and process improvement initiatives.
• Experience working in a fast-paced startup or high-growth environment.
