What you will do. A glimpse into your role:

We're looking for a Senior Auditor to join our growing Internal Audit team in Porto.

In this role, you'll play a key part in strengthening our internal control environment and supporting SOX compliance within a NYSE-listed organization. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the business, perform independent testing, assess control effectiveness, and contribute to identifying and mitigating risks that support our continued success.

Responsabilities

• Execute SOX 404(b) testing activities across the organization
• Assess control design and operating effectiveness, identifying gaps and improvement opportunities
• Perform control testing and documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and audit readiness
• Partner with control owners to strengthen control execution and support remediation efforts
• Prepare clear, concise, and well-structured audit documentation, including: Workpapers; Testing results; Findings; and Observations.
• Support coordination with external auditors during SOX testing cycles
• Contribute to the continuous enhancement of Global Blue's internal control framework
• Help foster a culture of compliance, accountability, and operational excellence

Key competencies to empower your journey. You'll drive towards success if you:

• Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• 2-3 years of experience in Audit, Internal Controls, or Risk Management
• Previous experience within a Big 4 environment is considered an advantage
• Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting standards (US GAAP knowledge is a plus)
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• High attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, international, and fast-evolving environment
• Fluency in English
• Availability to travel up to 10-20% when required
• Professional certifications such as CIA, CISA, ACCA, or equivalent are a plus

To be successful in this role, you should:

• Be legally authorized to work in Portugal
• Currently reside in Portugal
• Be available to work in a hybrid model, attending our Porto office on a weekly basis
