Senior Internal Auditor

About the role

The Senior Internal Auditor will plan and conduct financial, operational, and compliance audits to assess internal controls, identify risks, ensure compliance with policies and regulations, and help safeguard Club assets.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct financial, operational, compliance, and process audits.
• Evaluate internal controls and identify control gaps and operational risks.
• Audit areas such as cash, procurement, inventory, projects, and engineering/maintenance activities.
• Prepare audit findings, reports, and recommendations.
• Recommend practical corrective actions and process improvements.
• Monitor the implementation of agreed corrective actions.
• Support management in strengthening internal controls, accountability, and good governance.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant internal audit experience.
• Strong knowledge of internal auditing, internal controls, risk assessment, and audit procedures.
• Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, objectivity, and professional judgment.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with different departments and levels of management.
• Experience auditing cash, procurement, inventory, project implementation, and engineering/maintenance.
