Senior Intex Developer

The role

We are looking for a Senior Developer / Technical Architect with hands-on INTEX experience to support the modernization of a Structured Finance application ecosystem.

The consultant will work in a financial internal application and its integration with INTEX and PSI/PostgreSQL, initially refactoring the application to use a dedicated PSI PostgreSQL database instance, currently shared across multiple applications.

This is an ideal position for a Senior Developer evolving toward Solution/Technical Architecture , combining hands-on implementation with architecture responsibilities.

Role Responsibilities

• Refactor an internal financial application to integrate with a dedicated PSI PostgreSQL platform.
• Assess the current INTEX application architecture, integrations, dependencies, and data flows.
• Evaluate how INTEX data supports a financial application and other downstream applications.
• Identify technical debt, scalability, reliability, and performance gaps.
• Define and recommend enhancements to the existing architecture.
• Support defining the target-state INTEX architecture and modernization roadmap.
• Assess integrations between INTEX and market data, security master, databases, APIs, and analytics platforms.
• Enhance automation and streamline data ingestion and application operations.
• Create and improve application and architecture documentation.
• Present architectural updates and technical recommendations to CTO and architecture stakeholders.
• Partner with business, engineering, and architecture teams.
• Transfer INTEX and Structured Finance expertise to internal teams.

Minimum Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience with INTEX
• Strong understanding of Structured Finance
• Experience with structured products such as ABS, RMBS, CMBS, CLO, CDO and/or MBS
• Understanding of how INTEX data is used for cash-flow analytics, pricing, risk, and reporting
• Strong senior software-development background
• Experience with enterprise application integration
• Databases and SQL; PostgreSQL strongly preferred
• Experience with APIs, ETL/data flows, messaging and/or database integrations
• Ability to analyze an existing application architecture and propose a target architecture
• Experience documenting architecture, data flows, dependencies and integration patterns
• Ability to interact with architects, business stakeholders and senior technical leadership.
• Advanced English level.
