Job Description Sovereign Foods is a national supplier of quality chicken products to various markets and has operations in five provinces. The Agriculture division is looking for individual to assume the responsibilities of Senior Inventory Controller. The Senior Inventory Controller will be responsible for accurately keeping stock of bulk and bagged raw materials, finished goods and premixes, from ordering and contracts to sales, as well as managing the Feedmill administration and accounting systems. A NQF Level 5 qualification related to Supply Chain, or Financial Management and or relevant field is required, as well as 5 years’ hands-on inventory and stock controlling experience. This position carries a TASK grade of T09 and reports to the Production and Technical manager.

Responsibilities

• Daily stock recons reports on all raw materials, finished goods, premixes and sales. Balancing to Syspro
• Verify and capture month-end stocktaking totals on Syspro
• Issuing of raw materials to finished goods, and Premix raw to premix packs on Syspro
• Load recipe on Scada and prepare premix batch sheets accordingly
• Load bill of materials for all new recipes Syspro and update BOM variance file
• Update recipe register with changes
• Update costs and selling prices for external customers on Syspro
• Keep control over raw materials received at Nova (Grn and invoiced)
• Clear all foreign payments (Rosslyn and Uitenhage)
• Match supplier invoices on raw materials to grn’s for all major raws.(Rosslyn & Uitenhage)
• All monthly reports as required incl SAGIS

• Excellent organizational and data structuring skills
• Proficient in working with spreadsheets
• Syspro experience
