Mission Objectives: Ensure complete cybersecurity compliance and authorization for assigned complex systems while mentoring junior practitioners.
Position Responsibility Summary: Manage a Tier 1 system portfolio involving complex baselines and shared-responsibility environments, operating independently cradle-to-grave, while overseeing the deliverable execution of Intermediate ISSOs.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Responsibility 1: Own and manage a Tier 1 system portfolio, performing all necessary RMF lifecycle steps from categorization through continuous monitoring.
- Responsibility 2: Conduct vulnerability scanning analysis, POA&M remediation, and security impact analyses.
- Responsibility 3: Review deliverables produced by Intermediate ISSOs to ensure they meet the Acceptable Quality Levels (AQLs) before submission.
- Responsibility 4: Maintain active compliance in CSAM and continuously report system status to the Lead Senior ISSO.
