Senior IT Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior IT Engineer to support enterprise infrastructure and IT service operations, including Windows platform migrations, Microsoft 365, networking, storage, and day-to-day service management. The role suits someone who can work hands-on, coordinate with vendors and internal teams, and deliver under project and service deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and carry out Windows migrations, including Windows 10/11, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy
• Administer and support Microsoft 365, Intune, and related endpoint and identity services
• Configure and maintain Fortinet firewalls, Cisco and Meraki networks, and wireless access points
• Configure and support SAN and NAS storage
• Manage and resolve IT incidents, problems, and service requests in a timely and effective manner, minimizing business disruption and meeting agreed service standards
• Monitor IT service performance against SLAs and KPIs, provide regular reporting, and drive continuous service improvement to strengthen system stability and user satisfaction
• Manage relationships with vendors and internal teams, including participation in RFP processes, contract negotiation, SLA governance, and resolution of third-party service issues
• Provide monitoring and operational support for enterprise systems, including post-maintenance and post-patching validation checks to confirm system stability and performance
• Respond to ad-hoc user requests, including system configuration updates, data maintenance, and other operational support

About you

• Higher Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related discipline
• More than 5 years of solid, hands-on IT infrastructure experience
• Practical experience in Windows migration projects
• Familiar with Windows 10/11, Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, Intune, and Microsoft 365
• Familiar with Fortinet firewall, Cisco, Meraki, and AP configuration
• Familiar with SAN and NAS storage configuration
• Solid understanding of change management, incident management, and vendor management
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
• A good team player who can work under pressure
• ITIL certification is an advantage
