Senior IT Engineer (L2 IT Support)

Salary: Basic up to $6,000 + Bonus
Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm
Location: Commonwealth Drive

We are looking for a hands-on and dependable Senior IT Engineer (L2 IT Support) to join our team. You will play a key role in keeping our day-to-day IT operations running smoothly, providing technical support to users and maintaining our IT infrastructure.

This is a practical, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys troubleshooting, solving problems and taking ownership of IT issues from start to resolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2 technical support for hardware, software, network and user-related issues.
• Troubleshoot Windows desktops/laptops, peripherals, printers and office IT equipment.
• Perform basic network troubleshooting involving TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, LAN, Wi-Fi and switches.
• Assist with Sophos Firewall administration and troubleshooting.
• Manage Microsoft Active Directory tasks, including user accounts, password resets, permissions, domain joining and basic Group Policy.
• Set up, configure and deploy PCs, laptops, printers and other IT equipment.
• Support employee onboarding and offboarding.
• Maintain IT hardware/software inventory and basic system documentation.
• Coordinate with external IT vendors on repairs, warranties, quotations, procurement and technical support.
• Perform hardware replacement, maintenance and basic repairs.
• Investigate issues independently and escalate complex problems when required.
• Help ensure IT systems and equipment remain secure, reliable and operational.

What We're Looking For

• Diploma/Degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in IT Support, Helpdesk, Desktop Support or IT Infrastructure.
• Good understanding of Windows, Active Directory and networking fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with firewalls; Sophos.
