Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer (Citrix)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to manage, optimize, and scale a 24/7 enterprise virtual workspace environment. In this role, you will be responsible for technical design, complex system migrations, and high-availability maintenance across Citrix and VMware platforms. You will collaborate across corporate IT disciplines to translate business requirements into robust, automated infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Virtual Workspace & Server Operations: Manage and optimize 24/7 enterprise server environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and seamless user experience across virtual workspaces.
• Migrations & Technical Design: Lead infrastructure migrations, create detailed technical designs, and document implemented solutions for handover to IT Support.
• Scripting & Automation: Automate software deployments, repetitive operational tasks, and infrastructure processes to improve overall system efficiency.
• Cross-Functional Project Execution: Partner with global/corporate IT teams to execute complex infrastructure projects and plan system changes with zero business disruption.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Provide tier-3 analytical support for complex technical issues, collaborating with vendors and internal teams for root cause resolution.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience: Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in a large-scale enterprise IT environment.
• Core Technical Expertise: At least 5 years of dedicated experience with Citrix DaaS or VDI alongside strong proficiency in VMware.
• Automation: Demonstrated expertise in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) for process and software automation.
• Problem Solving & Collaboration: Strong analytical mindset, proactive problem-solving ability, and a collaborative approach to knowledge sharing.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Must be comfortable working full onsite during onboarding, then hybrid upon successful completion of the probationary period
• Rotating shift
• Must be located in Cebu or willing to relocated
