Senior IT PMO

What you will do

• Manage and lead project team to ensure success project implementation.

• Manage customer and stakeholder expectations and to define project scope, time and quality requirements.

• Adhere to company Program Management guidelines and project governance processes.

• Adopt to the project implementation SOP to develop, implement, and maintain a detailed project work plan, including appropriate controls, governance structures and monitoring to ensure on-time, on-budget, and quality outcomes.

• Responsible for providing progress reports/input on project status, capturing of risks and issues.

• Manage the project issues and risks jointly with the Customer’s Project Manager. Ensure escalated risks are captured (logged) and risk mitigations are reviewed and agreed by all impacted parties.

• Supervise and be responsible for projects/deliverables undertaken by team members and review the work performed of the project team, including works for quality and consistency; conduct reviews to ensure compliance with standards and guidelines and proper sign-off of the project deliverables.

What you will need

• Master Degree / Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / IT/ Project Management / Business Administration or equivalent.

• At least 5 years in Project / Programme Management Office experience and project deliveries within in the Insurance / Financial industry.

• Must possess profession certification, such as PMP, Scrum Master Certified, etc or Project Management Certifications are advantage.

• Vast knowledge in Software Development Lifecycle methodology or processes.

• Proficient customer relationship and negotiation skills.

• Demonstrated leadership in project process and planning activities; strategic approach.

• Results-oriented and driven by goal achievement with a strong focus on excellence and high-quality project delivery.

• Proficient experience in stakeholder and communication management.

• Strong hands-on experience in managing teams and project delivery.

• Experience managing medium-to-large size projects.

• Good knowledge of MS Offices tools (Excel, MS PowerPoint, Word, Project) and experience with Project Management tools (such as Jira, Micro Focus PPM, etc) will be added advantage.

• Must have strong interpersonal skills and are adept at building relationships with different stakeholders.

• High level of attention to detail, including a proven ability to manage multiple and competing priorities simultaneously.

• Excellent oral, written communication, and presentation skills.

• Possess a great attitude and a willingness to learn; adapt and work well in a team.
