Senior IT Programer

About the role

PT SADHANA is seeking an experienced Senior IT Programmer to join our growing technology team. This is a full-time position based in Purwosari District, Pasuruan Regency, East Java. As a Senior IT Programmer, you will be instrumental in driving our technological initiatives forward, and ensuring the highest standards of code quality and system performance.

Key responsibilities

·         Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications using industry best practices and programming standards

·         Review code submissions from team members, ensuring adherence to quality standards and best practices

·         Participate in system architecture planning and technical design discussions for new projects and initiatives

·         Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement effective solutions to resolve system problems

·         Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for systems, applications, and development processes

·         Stay abreast of emerging technologies and programming trends, recommending adoption where beneficial to the organisation

·         Perform code optimisation and refactoring to improve application performance and maintainability

·         Willing to be placed in Pasuruan

What we're looking for

·         Minimum 3+ years of professional software development experience with proven expertise in multiple programming languages

·         Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming and design patterns

·         Demonstrated experience in full-stack development or specialisation in backend systems development

·         Experience with database design and SQL optimisation

·         Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies

·         Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines

·         Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

·         Experience with version control systems such as Git

·         Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)

·         Preferred: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), RESTful API development, and microservices architecture
