Senior IT Project Lead (Banking Sector) Brussels, Belgium

As part of a large-scale digital transformation program within a leading financial services organization, we are looking for a Senior IT Project Lead / Epic Delivery Owner to drive the delivery of innovative and strategic IT initiatives within an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex IT epics, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic priorities

• Define, manage, and monitor project plans including scope, timelines, resources, risks, and dependencies

• Coordinate cross-functional and virtual teams (IT, business, external partners) across multiple entities

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and key stakeholders

• Drive governance, reporting, and performance tracking of assigned initiatives

• Proactively identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation and resolution strategies

• Ensure delivery excellence in line with Agile methodologies and internal standards

• Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders on IT investments and delivery approaches.

Your Profile:

• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in IT project management or delivery roles

• Strong experience in Agile environments (Scrum, SAFe, or similar frameworks)

• Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects in large organizations

• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills at all levels

• Solid understanding of both business and IT environments

• Excellent communication, presentation, and coordination skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and complex environment

• Fluent in English (mandatory)

Nice to Have:

• Experience in the financial services or banking sector

• Knowledge of emerging technologies (cloud, data, DLT, innovation topics)

• Certifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, or Agile (ACP, SAFe, etc.)

• Experience working with offshore or third-party delivery teams

Additional Information:
