Senior IT Project Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee end-to-end project delivery in a structured enterprise environment. The ideal candidate is highly process-oriented, detail-focused, and committed to project governance, compliance, and established standards. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery from initiation to completion.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Ensure compliance with established project management methodologies, governance frameworks, and organizational processes.
• Coordinate business and technical stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and drive timely resolution.
• Prepare project status reports, management updates, and governance documentation.
• Maintain accurate project records and ensure adherence to documentation and control requirements.
• Facilitate project reviews, governance checkpoints, and audit-related activities, as applicable.
• Drive accountability across project teams to ensure timely delivery and compliance with quality standards.

Qualifications

• PMP certification is required.
• Significant experience in project management, preferably managing complex projects in an enterprise environment.
• Strong understanding of project governance, controls, risk management, and structured project management methodologies.
• Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and coordination skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven, with a strong commitment to following established policies and procedures.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, resolve issues, and engage effectively with senior stakeholders.
• Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and IT project delivery is an advantage.
• Banking or financial services experience is preferred.
• Experience in audit, risk, compliance, or governance-related activities is an advantage.
