Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced IT Support Specialist to provide day-to-day IT support and contribute to infrastructure, systems migration, and technology improvement initiatives. The role will support hardware, software, network, and cloud environments while ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient IT operations across the organization.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience supporting Windows environments, Microsoft 365 and/or Google Workspace, cloud platforms, network infrastructure, and system migrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to employees for hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, peripherals, operating systems, and business applications.
• Support Windows Server environments, including server upgrades, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Administer and support Microsoft 365 and/or Google Workspace environments, including user accounts, access, configurations, and migrations.
• Assist with on-premises to cloud migrations, system transitions, and infrastructure upgrades.
• Support network infrastructure, including connectivity, Wi-Fi, switches, routers, VPNs, and basic network troubleshooting.
• Monitor IT systems and infrastructure to identify and resolve potential issues proactively.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, access controls, and device configurations.
• Assist with data backup, recovery, security controls, and business continuity processes.
• Maintain accurate IT documentation, asset records, system configurations, and support procedures.
• Assist with IT security initiatives and ensure systems and processes align with company policies and security requirements.
• Support internal audits and compliance initiatives, with familiarity with ISO 27001 information security standards.
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers when required.
• Participate in IT projects, infrastructure improvements, and technology implementation initiatives.
• Provide timely technical support and maintain a high level of service to internal users.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant qualification in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Proven experience in an IT Support, Systems Administrator, IT Specialist, or similar role.

• Strong hands-on knowledge of hardware, software, operating systems, networking, and cloud platforms.

• Experience with Windows Server upgrades and administration.

• Knowledge of network technologies, troubleshooting, VPNs, and basic network security.

• Familiarity with IT security principles, access management, backups, and endpoint security.

• Familiarity with ISO 27001 standards and information security management practices.

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support users with varying levels of technical knowledge.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently while collaborating with internal teams and external providers.

Preferred

• Relevant IT certifications such as Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco, AWS, Azure, or Google certifications.
• Experience supporting hybrid or multi-site environments
