This hands-on role combines advanced Level 3 support with systems administration, networking, security and infrastructure projects. You will take ownership of escalated incidents, improve system reliability and mentor junior team members while maintaining clear communication with clients and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical support for operating systems including Windows, Linux, and macOS, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Manage virtualization environments using VMware and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure platforms.
• Design, implement, and maintain network security solutions such as VPNs to safeguard organizational data.
• Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash (Unix shell), and Shell Scripting to streamline routine tasks and improve system efficiency.
• Support database management and integration with SQL, Oracle, and other enterprise data systems to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to deploy continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines leveraging tools like Jenkins and Docker.
• Troubleshoot complex issues related to AWS cloud services, operating systems, and enterprise applications with transparency and clarity.
• Document technical procedures thoroughly, conduct system audits regularly, and contribute to knowledge base updates for team-wide benefit.

Experience

• Proven experience supporting enterprise IT environments with expertise in VMware virtualization technology.
• Strong familiarity with operating systems including Windows Server, Linux distributions, and macOS.
• Hands-on experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure for infrastructure deployment and management.
• Knowledge of networking protocols, VPN configurations, security best practices, and firewall management.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, SQL scripting, Bash (Unix shell), along with Shell Scripting for automation tasks.
• Experience supporting DevOps workflows using tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues efficiently while communicating solutions clearly across teams.

Pay: $65,000.00-$82,700.00 per year
