Looking for an IT Support role where you can do more than just close tickets?

We’re looking for a (Senior) IT Support Engineer who enjoys solving day-to-day technical problems but also wants the ownership to improve how internal IT actually works.

You’ll join a modern, growing technology environment where you’ll work hands-on across macOS and Linux , take ownership of internal systems, work with Identity & Access Management , deliver your own IT projects and automate processes across the employee lifecycle.

What you’ll be doing

• Support colleagues with day-to-day IT requests and technical issues across macOS, Linux and Windows
• Manage and improve Identity & Access Management , including user lifecycles, roles, permissions and SSO
• Take technical ownership of internal IT tools, including configuration, access, integrations and lifecycle
• Own internal IT projects from initial scoping through implementation and rollout
• Automate processes such as onboarding, tool provisioning, role changes and offboarding
• Improve existing internal IT processes and workflows
• Create and maintain clear technical documentation
• Explore how automation and AI tools can make internal IT more efficient and scalable

What we’re looking for

• Several years of hands-on experience in IT Support, Internal IT, Workplace IT or IT Operations
• Strong practical experience supporting macOS and/or Linux environments
• Hands-on IAM experience beyond basic user administration, ideally including SSO, MFA, roles and permissions
• Experience taking end-to-end ownership of at least one internal IT system or technical domain
• Experience independently delivering IT projects
• Confidence with the command line and some practical Bash, Python or similar scripting/automation experience
• A proactive mindset: you don’t just solve recurring problems — you look for ways to prevent or automate them
• Strong communication skills and a service-oriented approach
• Business-fluent English and German at B1 level or above

Nice to have

• ITIL knowledge or certification
• Experience working in an ISO 27001 environment
• Experience with device/endpoint management
• Experience using AI tools or agents in technical workflows
• Previous experience in a fast-moving startup or scale-up environment
