Senior IT Support Specialist (Google Workspace Admin & Security )

Key responsibilities :

• Administer the entire Google Workspace environment: organizational units, groups, roles, and sharing policies
• Design and enforce access control policies across Gmail, Drive, Meet, Calendar, and connected third-party apps
• Monitor Admin Console audit logs to track who accessed what, when, and from where — and act on anomalies
• Manage the full user lifecycle: provisioning, license assignment, and timely deprovisioning on offboarding
• Configure DLP rules, data retention policies, and external sharing restrictions to protect sensitive information
• Lead the groundwork for ISO 27001 certification: gap analysis, control mapping, and evidence preparation
• Own the access review process and ensure the principle of least privilege is applied across all systems
• Define and document the incident response playbook for common security events
• Build the IT request and ticketing process from scratch using Jira Service Management or equivalent
• Maintain network infrastructure including switches, access points, and firewall configuration

Qualification :

• 5+ years of IT support or systems administration experience, ideally within a software development or technology company
• Hands-on Google Workspace administration: OU structure, group policies, OAuth app management, audit log investigation
• Strong hands-on experience supporting MacBook/macOS environments as the primary user device
• Demonstrable experience working in or alongside software development teams — comfortable with Jira, Confluence, GitHub, and CI/CD concepts
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals: DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewall rules, and basic routing
• Practical experience with ISO 27001 or equivalent security frameworks — knows what an audit requires and can prepare documentation
• Proven ability to diagnose problems systematically rather than following a fixed checklist
• Clear and accessible communicator: able to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders without jargon
• GCP experience: IAM policies, Cloud Audit Logs, and basic resource management (preferred)
• Scripting skills in Python or Bash for automation and log analysis (preferred)
• Experience building or improving IT request workflows in Jira Service Management or ServiceNow (preferred)
