Senior IT Team Manager

Main responsibilities

Provide Team Leadership

Manage the team s recruitments, objectives setting, appraisal and performance review.
Create an environment oriented to trust, open communication, creative thinking, and cohesive team effort.
Motivate and inspire team members by setting a good example (role model).
Help develop team members; help resolve dysfunctional behavior.
Strive for team consensus and win-win situation.
Ensure discussions and decisions lead toward conclusion.

Focus the Team on Customer Requirements

Build Roadmap for Short-term to Long-term.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholder as necessary.
Initiate sub-groups or sub-teams as appropriate to resolve issues and perform tasks in parallel.

Coordinate Team Logistics

Ensure deliverables are prepared in line with the requirements.
Help keep the team focused and on track.
Work with other IT Managers and Head of Sections and Departments to obtain necessary resources to support the teams requirements.
Establish meeting times, places, and agendas.

Communicate team status, task accomplishment, and direction

Analyze status reporting of team activities against the program plan or schedule.
Keep the Head of department and section informed of task accomplishment, issues, and status.
Serve as a focal point to communicate and resolve interface and integration issues with other teams and business partners.
Escalate issues which cannot be resolved within the team.
Provide guidance to the team based on management direction.

Business - Delivery management

Reach agreement on plans for projects and services provided by the team.
Lead design, implementation, and integration in the solutions.
Ensure the projects, activities and tasks under the team s responsibility are performed within quality standards, on schedule and cost-effectively.
Manage budget and capacity allocation according to priorities.
Ensure each solution developed by the team fulfills the client needs.

Lean Management Practices

Ensure an effective performance dialogue and meeting cascade are in place, facilitating team performance improvement and the escalation of problems.

Position

In a challenging and multicultural environment, we are looking for a senior Team Manager to join Referential IT Section in charge of the KYC & Counterparties Referential applications of Cr dit Agricole CIB.
The team handles the development of transversal and international projects.
AT CA-CIB we have a robust system to ensure compliance with the regulations and requirements including Know Your Customer (KYC) and Customer Due Diligence (CDD).

Position with management : No

Minimum level of study : Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Training / Specialization : Bachelor Degree
This position requires a minimum of 10 years exposure in Software Engineer field (as a developer, tech lead, business analyst or project manager) Mandatory 3+ years of experience in IT Project Management. Mandatory 3+ years of experience as an IT Team head in charge of in-house application development

Minimum experience level : 11 years and more

Skills needed : Comfortable participating in technical discussions Proficient in Microsoft Office Strong organizational and communication skills Strong analytical and problem solving skills Awareness of various software development procedures Ability to follow defined procedures Capable to effectively interact with technical team Understanding and respect of cultural diversity Company Cr dit Agricole CIB
