Senior Java Architect - Credit Card/Banking

Employment: W2 Hourly / FTE

Visa: H4 EAD / USC / GC only

We are looking for a 10+ Years of Senior Java Architect with strong hands-on development and enterprise architecture experience to design, develop, and enhance scalable enterprise applications in the credit card/banking domain .

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring Boot.

• Build scalable backend services, REST APIs, business logic, and integrations.

• Work with MongoDB for data modeling, persistence, querying, and performance optimization.

• Implement and maintain business process workflows using Flowable BPM.

• Analyze complex Java codebases and understand solution- and enterprise-level architecture.

• Participate in architecture/design reviews, code reviews, troubleshooting, and production support.

• Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.

• Collaborate with architects, developers, QA, BAs, and business stakeholders.

Must-Have Skills:

10+ years of Java development/architecture experience

Strong Java & Spring Boot expertise

REST APIs & enterprise application development

Credit Card / Banking domain experience – Mandatory

MongoDB

Flowable BPM / enterprise BPM experience

Strong understanding of complex Java codebases and enterprise architecture

Nice to Have:

• Solution/Enterprise Architecture experience

• Large-scale Java application modernization

• Experience with Flowable or similar BPM platforms
