Senior Java Backend Developer

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services and REST APIs using Java 21 and Spring Boot.
• Implement business logic, validations, exception handling, and integrations.
• Work with Microservices, PostgreSQL, JPA/Hibernate, and SQL.
• Develop schedulers and background processes for token expiry, notifications, reporting, and other workflows.
• Work on payment modules such as enrolment, authorization, recurring payments, mandates, and token management.
• Integrate with external systems, payment networks, issuers, and acquirers.
• Troubleshoot UAT/production issues, analyse logs, identify root causes, and implement fixes.
• Participate in requirement analysis, development, testing support, deployment, and production support.
• Follow coding standards and Git/Maven-based development practices.
