Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Backend Developer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and backend application development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and secure software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and maintain microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Develop efficient, reusable, and well-tested code following software development best practices.
• Work with relational databases, SQL queries, and data access technologies.
• Participate in application architecture, technical design, code reviews, and performance optimization.
• Troubleshoot complex application issues and support production systems.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA engineers, and other development teams.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and technical discussions.
• Implement secure coding practices and ensure application reliability and maintainability.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to the development team.

Required Skills:

• 12+ years of experience in software development, with strong hands-on Java backend development expertise.
• Strong proficiency in Core Java, object-oriented programming, and Java fundamentals.
• Extensive experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Strong experience designing and developing Microservices and REST APIs.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases such as Oracle or PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of application performance tuning, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and software development best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized applications.
• Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Knowledge of automated testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
• Experience in financial services, banking, or enterprise-scale applications.
