We are looking for a Senior Java Cloud Developer to join our Development Center in Bucharest and work on strategic projects for a world-renowned client.

You will be responsible for designing and developing scalable, secure and resilient backend solutions using Java and Spring Boot, while leveraging Google Cloud Platform to build and deploy cloud-native services.

🔹 What you will do

• Develop scalable backend solutions using Java and Spring Boot

• Work across the full software development lifecycle, from development and testing to documentation and release

• Build and consume RESTful APIs

• Design and optimize data access using JPA, Hibernate and SQL

• Build and deploy cloud-native services using GCP

• Work with containerized services using Docker and Kubernetes

• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and ensure system stability and performance

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical standards and best practices

• Collaborate with Business Analysts, QA Engineers and stakeholders

• Support high-quality software releases

🔹 What we are looking for

• Strong experience with Java and Spring Framework , including Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security and Spring Cloud

• Deep knowledge of JPA, Hibernate and SQL

• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform , such as Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud SQL and Pub/Sub

• Strong experience with REST APIs

• Good understanding of software architecture and design patterns

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes

• Knowledge of Maven, Webpack, Postman and OpenAPI

• Experience with unit and integration testing

• Familiarity with OAuth2 and secure API practices
