We are looking for a Senior Java Software Engineer experienced in cloud-native development to join our team and contribute to the design and implementation of scalable and innovative solutions.

About this vacancy

The selected person will work closely with PMs, stakeholders, software architects, and engineering managers to translate business requirements into high-level technical solutions.

Collaborate in the analysis of business requirements with PMs and stakeholders

• Define technical solutions in synergy with the team, software architects, and engineering managers
• Document solutions in detailed technical specifications
• Estimate the effort required for each activity and support planning
• Implement robust and scalable cloud-native solutions
• Validate and control deliverables according to established quality criteria
• Provide support during testing and troubleshooting phases

What we expect from you

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or similar
• Advanced experience with Java and cloud-native backend development (at least 5 years)
• In-depth knowledge of microservices architectures and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies for project management
• Experience in coordinating small work teams
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in parallel
• Effective communication and interaction with the team and stakeholders
• Inclination for mentoring and supporting junior resources
• Fluency in both Italian and English

What you can expect from us

The position offers a permanent employment contract, and the gross annual salary (RAL) base offered will not be less than €36,000, in line with the provisions of the CCNL Commercio – Terziario, Distribuzione e Servizi.

TMC is committed to offering a competitive salary package and, upon completion of the selection process and evaluation of the candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications, may propose a final RAL higher than the level indicated above.

In accordance with our business model, the final salary package also includes a direct participation component in project profits (profit sharing), an individual budget of €4,000 net per year for skill development, and an annual welfare credit. Further details will be provided during the selection process, in compliance with current company policies.
