Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer with 7+ years of professional Java development experience and strong expertise in at least one of the following areas: AWS Cloud Technologies, Search Technologies, or Big Data and Distributed Systems.

The ideal candidate should have strong software engineering fundamentals, experience developing scalable and high-performance applications, and the ability to design, develop, and optimize enterprise-grade systems.

Required Skills

• Java Development: 7+ years of hands-on experience in Java application development, coding, debugging, and software design.
• AWS Cloud Technologies: Experience with Amazon EKS, AWS Step Functions, AWS Lambda, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Search Technologies: Experience with OpenSearch, Apache Solr, Elasticsearch, or Apache Lucene.
• Big Data & Distributed Systems: Experience with distributed computing, multithreading, concurrency, and large-scale data processing.
• Performance Tuning: Strong skills in application performance optimization, troubleshooting, scalability, and system reliability.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working on Apple projects is a plus.
• Experience building scalable, reliable, and high-performance backend applications.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.

Interview Process

• Onsite Interview: Candidates must be available to interview onsite in either Austin, TX, or Sunnyvale, CA.
