SENIOR JAVA DEVELOPER – BANKING TECHNOLOGY

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for experienced Senior Java Developers to design, develop, and maintain enterprise banking applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners, and stakeholders to analyze business requirements.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications, system designs, and application workflows.
• Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and Microservices .
• Develop and integrate frontend and backend components.
• Perform testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and application performance optimization.
• Optimize database queries and ensure system reliability and data integrity.
• Prepare technical documentation and system architecture diagrams.
• Follow development standards, security requirements, and data confidentiality policies.
• Work closely with QA, DevOps, and development teams in an Agile/Scrum environment .

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Java Enterprise Edition (JEE) web application development.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and Microservices .
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) .
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, or DB2 .
• Basic frontend knowledge: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, or React .
• Experience in application development, debugging, database optimization, and performance tuning.
• Experience completing at least one full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) implementation.
• Ability to work independently and contribute to technical design and implementation decisions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
